“Novruz 2022” Event
Novruz holiday is celebrated on the same day as the arrival of spring in the northern hemisphere. On March 21, as day and night began, on this day, since ancient times, Azerbaijanis have celebrated the arrival of spring and the awakening of nature as the beginning of the new year. These festivities are celebrated not only in Azerbaijan, but also in Iran, apparently, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, and some eastern countries. In relation to Iran and trade, these days are considered the first day of the calendar and the new year begins on March 21.
Novruz holiday was included in the list of intangible cultural heritage by the UNESCO company in 2009, and March 21 was declared "International Novruz Day" at the meeting of the 64th session of the UN General Assembly in 2010. Currently, this holiday is celebrated in the same way.
